envs.net

envs.net: a tildeverse member running Debian, minimalist in ethos but with one of the longest service lists of any tilde. The shell host is core.envs.net.

ssh you@envs.net

mosh is also supported, which helps on unreliable connections.

• ~/public_html/: served at envs.net/~you/
• ~/public_gopher/, ~/public_gemini/: gopher and gemini spaces

• mutt: the natural mail client here; mail is server-side IMAP at mail.envs.net, so nothing mail-related is stored in ~ beyond .muttrc
• weechat (classic ~/.weechat/ config path), irssi: IRC clients
• byobu: persistent sessions
• bbj: the shared tildeverse forum
• finger: works for users on the host
• Editors: micro (the default), nano, vim, emacs
