Vim

Configured via ~/.vimrc. Key settings:

• 2-space tabs (expandtab, tabstop=2, shiftwidth=2)
• Line wrap at 78 chars (textwidth=78)
• Auto-indent on

• 256-color, dark background, elflord colorscheme
• Line numbers, cursor position in status bar
• Trailing whitespace highlighted red

• Incremental + highlighted search
• Case-insensitive unless uppercase used (smartcase)

.vimrc detects gophermap filenames and sets noexpandtab — gophermaps require real tab characters.
