===== What It Does =====

EtherCalc is a real-time collaborative spreadsheet: the spreadsheet counterpart to Etherpad. Anyone with a room URL can view and edit; no account required. It runs as a single workerd container with built-in persistence, no external database needed.

  * No accounts: anonymous read/write via room URL
  * CSV / Excel / ODS import and export
  * Room index disabled (''ETHERCALC_DISABLE_ROOM_INDEX=1'') so rooms can't be enumerated

===== Configuration =====

State persists to the ''folkzone_ethercalc_data'' Docker volume mounted at ''/data''. The container runs with a read-only root filesystem and ''no-new-privileges'' per upstream's hardening recommendations (writable ''/tmp'' is provided via tmpfs).

Deployed for the Pillowfort Archival Initiative (2026-10-23) after they asked about spreadsheet functionality on pad.folk.zone.
