How to get an account on the folk.zone wiki.

===== Requesting Access =====

The folk.zone wiki is not open for public registration. To request an account, send an email to:

* **Email:** hello@folk.zone
  * **Subject:** Wiki Account Request

Please include:
  * Your preferred username
  * A brief description of why you want to contribute
  * Any specific topics you're interested in documenting

===== Account Creation =====

Once your request is approved, you will receive:
  * Your username
  * A temporary password
  * Instructions for setting up your profile

You can change your password after first login through the DokuWiki user interface.

===== Getting Started =====

After receiving your account:
  1. Log in at wiki.folk.zone
  2. Update your profile with a display name and email
  3. Read [[meta:hygiene|Wiki Hygiene Rules]] for community guidelines
  4. Review [[meta:editing|How to Be a Good Wiki Editor]] for editing tips
  5. Check [[meta:focus|What We're Looking For]] to understand our content focus
